Aleza Paclarin, LPC
Aleza Paclarin, LPC earned her Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from Fordham University. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology. Aleza is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has 10 plus years experience in the mental health field working with children and adults. She has been an administrator for a hospital system as well as a community mental health center that provides outpatient, partial care, and substance abuse services.
Aleza is trained in areas of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and other Trauma-Informed Models of treatment.
Aleza utilizes a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach in her work. She values the importance of building a therapeutic alliance with her clients. Aleza is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults in coping with anxiety, stress, life transitions, immigration, and traumatic experiences such as sexual abuse. She is invested in creating a safe space for her clients in order to make room for growth, change, and a better quality of life.
