Belinda Amatekpor, MA, MSEd, LPC is licensed by the NJ State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. She received her graduate degrees in Psychological Counseling (MA) and School Counseling (MSEd) from Monmouth University, New Jersey. She majored in Psychology from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Belinda is our Clinical Supervision Director. She designs, plans and implements training programs for early onset clinicians utilizing the Institute’s unique Evolutionary Integrative Psychotherapy Model as training and supervision modalities designed to provide a strong clinical foundation and an enjoyable experience that prepares clinicians for a quality clinical career.
Belinda Amatekpor has over 12 years experience as an adoption counselor, outpatient therapist, Intensive In-Community (IIC) in-home therapist, and private practice. Her experiences lend to working with families including children, adolescents, individuals, and couples. She incorporates cognitive behavioral, client-centered, goal-oriented, cultural sensitivity, and psychoeducational modalities. She is passionate about assisting clients with behavior modifications, managing anxiety and depression, and making healthy life choices. She integrates her experiences with compassion and genuineness in assisting clients work toward health and well-being.
