
Jennifer Aroca, LSW is a bilingual Spanish-speaking therapist and Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Jennifer currently serves as a supervisor at a CMO, working closely with PerformCare, and has extensive experience supporting youth and families in in-home counseling, community-based, and outpatient settings. She has worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, family challenges, bullying, peer conflict, suicidal thoughts, sexual assault, low self-esteem, and self-image concerns.
She has supported clients through significant life experiences such as loss, parent-child separation, divorce, and exposure to trauma, including domestic violence. Jennifer offers a compassionate, safe, and judgment-free space where clients feel respected and supported as they work to process, heal, and move forward. Her goal is to empower clients to build healthy coping strategies, strengthen communication, set boundaries, and cultivate confidence and resilience.
Her approach combines evidence-based therapies such as CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and person-centered techniques, along with interventions for emotional regulation, stress management, self-care, goal setting, and building individual strengths. Jennifer works collaboratively with clients to gain insight, build resilience, and develop the tools needed to navigate life’s challenges while creating meaningful, lasting change.
Jennifer is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in New Jersey, a Certified CANS-NJ Assessor, and is trained in Mental Health First Aid, QPR suicide prevention, and domestic violence and child abuse prevention. She is under the supervision of Gayle Brown, LCSW
