
Gabriella earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New Jersey City University. She completed her undergraduate studies at Rowan University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She is currently working under clinical supervision as she continues toward full licensure as a professional counselor.
Gabriella has diverse clinical experience across multiple levels of care, including Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization, and residential treatment settings, where she has supported adolescents and adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. She also has experience providing in-home therapy to children and adolescents, direct work with immigrant populations, as well as early childhood education experience in classroom settings.
Gabriella has experience working with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds and provides treatment for a range of concerns, including anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral challenges, family systems, and substance use. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to offer accessible and culturally responsive care to Spanish-speaking clients and families. Gabriella utilizes a collaborative, client-centered, and strengths-based approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. She believes in meeting clients where they are and tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs and pace. Gabriella is committed to providing a supportive, affirming, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their growth and healing. Gabriella is under the supervision of Shanique Curry.
