Angelica Gomez, LSW, holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Montclair State University. She also completed Rutgers’ LISTA Certificate Program, focused on culturally responsive work with Latina/o/x communities.
Angelica's background includes outpatient, school-based, and crisis settings, as well as ABA and community-based programs. She works primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults, and has experience providing both individual and family therapy. She provides therapeutic support to clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and other emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Angelica takes a humanistic and relational approach. She uses CBT and DBT strategies and incorporates art, play, and mindfulness. Her work focuses on helping clients better understand themselves and develop ways to manage day-to-day challenges.
Angelica is bilingual in English and Spanish and provides culturally responsive care. She is currently under the supervision of Courtney Anderson-Harvey, LCSW.
