Biography for Jessica Jordan, LCSW.

Jessica Jordan, LCSW, has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and majored in Psychology as an undergraduate at Ramapo College. Jessica’s background includes working with adults with varying degrees of mental health disorders including Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorder, Schizophrenia and co-occurring disorders in partial hospitalization and outpatient levels of care.

Jessica has experience and training in different forms of trauma including domestic violence and physical, sexual and emotional abuse. Jessica previously worked as a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider as well as with federal probation clients in re-entry.

Jessica holds special training in IMR therapy and regularly practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and psychotherapy in both individual and group therapy. In addition to this, she is certified to supervise fellow MSW students to build career development. Jessica has always held a passion for Psychology and helping people since she was young. She approaches therapy with an open mind and strong focus on her clients. She delivers very down-to-earth care when empowering clients to learn how to effectively cope. Jessica firmly believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship, the power of talking and of hope.

Jessica is certified to provide clinical supervision and provides direct supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians within the institute. Jessica was a previous member of the Passaic County Board of Mental Health.
