Patrick McCarthy, LSW

Patrick McCarthy, LSW is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who earned both his Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from Rutgers University, along with a certificate in Promoting Child and Adolescent Well-Being. He is currently completing supervised clinical hours to obtain his Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.

Patrick’s professional experience spans a variety of clinical and educational settings, including public school systems, therapeutic high schools, IOP, PHP, and rehabs. He has provided individual therapy, family sessions, case management, and group therapy, working with children, adolescents, and young adults facing challenges such as substance use disorders, PTSD, trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, and depression

Patrick implements Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based practices, and trauma-informed care, and collaborates with clients to develop personalized strategies that foster resilience, growth, and well-being. His goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. He is under the supervision of William DiGennaro, LCSW.
