Mirna Morad, LAC

Mirna Morad, LAC, earned her  Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kean University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Moravian University. I have experience working inIntensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) programs, where I have worked with a diverse population ranging from children to older adults. My experience includes both individual and group therapy, with a strong emphasis on facilitating groups and creating a supportive space for shared experiences. My clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, interpersonal challenges, and co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.

Mirna is certified in trauma-informed care and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills into her work. Mirna utilizes a variety of treatment modalities, including client-centered and strengths-based approaches, meeting clients where they are and adjusting her approach based on their needs.

Mirna strives to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. Her goal is to empower clients to gain insight, build confidence, and make meaningful changes as they move forward in their personal growth and healing.
