Shamyra Osanyinlusi, LPC

Shamyra is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), who is in the process of obtaining her Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) credential. She earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a certification in Addiction Studies from Monmouth University.

Shamyra has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings, including treatment centers, outpatient programs, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and partial hospitalization programs (PHP).  Shamyra specializes in working with individuals experiencing mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. She has worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, stress management, substance use concerns, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, and life transitions.

Her clinical approach integrates several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Shamyra tailors her therapeutic approach to meet each individual’s specific needs and goals, and her work is grounded in empathy and compassion. She is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, gain self-awareness, and develop practical coping strategies. Shamyra is committed to helping individuals achieve personal growth and becoming the best version of themselves.
