Aleza Paclarin, LPC, ACS earned her Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from Fordham University in New York. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Ateneo De Davao University, Philippines.
Aleza is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has 11 plus years experience in the mental health field working with children and adults. She employs treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Mindfulness. She has been an administrator for a hospital system as well as a community mental health center that provides outpatient and partial care services.
Aleza utilizes a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach in her work. She values the importance of building a therapeutic alliance with her clients. Aleza is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults in coping with anxiety, stress, life transitions, immigration, and traumatic experiences such as sexual abuse. She is invested in creating a safe space for her clients in order to make room for growth, change, and a better quality of life.
