Biography for Aleza Paclarin, LPC.

Aleza Paclarin, LPC, ACS earned her Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from Fordham University in New York. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Ateneo De Davao University, Philippines.

Aleza is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has 13 plus years experience in the mental health field working with children and adults. She employs a psychodynamic approach and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills in treatment. She has been an administrator for a hospital system as well as a community mental health center that provides outpatient and partial care services. 

Aleza utilizes a compassionate, strength-based, and nonjudgemental approach in her work. She believes in the importance of building a therapeutic alliance with her clients. Alexa is passionate about helping children, adolescents and young adults in coping with anxiety, stress, life transitions, immigration and traumatic experiences. She values empowering new parents and helping women navigate perinatal concerns. She is invested in creating a safe space for her clients in order to make room for growth, change and a better quality of life.

Aleza is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor (Certificate Number: ACS03805).
