Chandni Patel, LCSW

Chandni Patel, LCSW, LCADC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) who earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Master of Social Work Degree (MSW) from Rutgers University. Chandni has several years of clinical experience and of coordinating programs in mental health and addiction services in outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization program (PHP), and outpatient detox settings. Chandni’s professional experience includes supporting adults, couples, and families through a wide range of mental health, interpersonal and substance use challenges.

Chandni utilizes collaborative, and strengths-based approach that empowers clients to access their own resilience and capacity for change Drawing from evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy and somatic approaches, including inner child work, Chandni tailors treatment to each individual’s goals, whether they’re coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance abuse, life transitions, or relational conflict.

Chandni’s early work as an EMT shaped her deep understanding of the mind-body connection and sparked her passion for addressing mental health in communities where stigma often silences emotional pain. In therapy, Chandni cultivates a compassionate space grounded in respect and curiosity, where clients can explore their patterns, develop emotional regulation skills, build healthier relationships, and move toward meaningful, sustainable growth.
