Cole Stevens, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. Cole also holds a certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT). Cole's clinical background includes work in intensive in-home therapy, outpatient practice, and medical social work, allowing him to support clients across a wide range of needs and life stages. Cole is particularly passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages navigating anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma.
Cole is a trauma-informed therapist who integrates several evidence-based approaches—including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic therapy, Schema Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy—to tailor treatment to each individual’s goals and experiences. Cole also plans to pursue training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to further expand his trauma-focused work.
