Aileen Pineda Torres, MS, LPC is licensed by the NJ State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Aileen has been in the counseling field for over 10 years working with different populations including children, adolescents, families and couples.
She has experience working with clients having developmental, emotional and behavioral challenges. She uses approaches in cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered, goal-oriented, cultural sensitivity, and psychoeducational modalities. She helps her clients to manage anger, anxiety, depression, and make healthy life choices. She integrates her experiences using a mindfulness-based practice, compassion and genuineness in assisting clients work toward health and well-being.
