
Federica Bisone MA, LAC is a Licensed Associate Counselor and Lawyer who received her Bachelor in Psychology, Philosophy, and Spanish from Southwestern University, her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and Master’s in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from William Paterson University. Federica specializes in adolescent and adult trauma, the immigrant experience, chronic illness, grief, family and couple’s therapy, domestic/sexual assault, eating disorders, personality disorders, psychological oncology and mediation.
Federica utilizes a combination of therapeutic approaches, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), psychodynamic theory, existentialism, evolutionary psychology, and meaning based therapy and believes that finding one’s voice through compassion and safety are the cornerstones on which healing is based.
Born and reared in Italy, Federica is fluent in Italian and Spanish. She brings multi-cultural awareness to her therapeutic interventions and strives to create an environment of tolerance, open-mindedness and inner peace for all her clients. Federica is under the supervision of Aileen Torres, LPC as she continues her path toward full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
