Biography for Cassandra Wojdylak, LAC

Cass Wojdylak, MA, LAC, earned her Master of Arts in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from William Paterson University in New Jersey. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in disability studies from William Paterson University. She is currently working under a licensed clinical supervisor to obtain the required supervised hours to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Cass specializes in several areas including working with children, college students/young adults, marginalized communities, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals with disabilities. She is also well-versed in working with anxiety and stress management, depression and mood disorders, personal development, and career concerns. Prior to ITI-NJ, Cass worked as a residential counselor in a group home for individuals experiencing persistent mental health difficulties. Cass provided support services to improve independence, coping skills and quality of life.

Cass utilizes a variety of treatment modalities in therapy, including client-centered and strengths based approaches,mindfulness, and cognitive techniques. Psychodynamic and interpersonal theories are often a part of Cass's approach to therapy. She also engages in play-based therapies with children. Cass is committed to providing a secure environment and building a positive therapeutic relationship with all of her clients. She strives to support her clients in their healing journeys by providing a secure, compassionate, identity affirming, and non-judgemental environment.
