Cass Wojdylak, MA, LAC, earned her Master of Arts in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from William Paterson University in New Jersey. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in disability studies from William Paterson University. She is currently working under a licensed clinical supervisor to obtain the required supervised hours to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Cass specializes in several areas including working with children, college students/young adults, marginalized communities, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals with disabilities. She is also well-versed in working with anxiety and stress management, depression and mood disorders, personal development, and career concerns. Prior to ITI-NJ, Cass worked as a residential counselor in a group home for individuals experiencing persistent mental health difficulties. Cass provided support services to improve independence, coping skills and quality of life.
Cass utilizes a variety of treatment modalities in therapy, including client-centered and strengths based approaches,mindfulness, and cognitive techniques. Psychodynamic and interpersonal theories are often a part of Cass's approach to therapy. She also engages in play-based therapies with children. Cass is committed to providing a secure environment and building a positive therapeutic relationship with all of her clients. She strives to support her clients in their healing journeys by providing a secure, compassionate, identity affirming, and non-judgemental environment. Cass is under the supervision of Aleza Paclarin, LPC.
