Biography for Joselyn Berrios, LSW.

Joselyn Berrios, MSW, LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her graduate degree with honors from Rutgers University, Graduate School of Social Work and her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University. Joselyn is working under a licensed clinical supervisor at the Institute to gain required supervised hours for her LCSW license.  Joselyn has extensive experience working in multiple medical settings in which she provided support to individuals and families with varying physical and mental health diagnoses.

Joselyn specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. She works with clients struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, trauma, domestic violence, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Joselyn incorporates a variety of treatment approaches in therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, strength-based approaches, and Compassion-Focused Therapy.   She provides a safe, supportive, and open space in treatment where she practices a warm and compassionate approach to help her clients attain their goals for building a happier and healthier life. Joselyn is under the supervision of Pamela Schott, LCSW.
