Jbid Bozoglan, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University, and her Master of Social Work degree from New York University. She has experience working with individuals and families, as well as experience conducting group therapy.
Jbid has experience helping patients and clients at multiple facilities and levels of care, including psychiatric group homes, school setting, and with children, adolescents and families on the children’s crisis intervention services (CCIS) unit of a psychiatric hospital. She works compassionately to help her clients, using a variety of methods, including cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and solution-focused therapies. Jbid works with her clients to help them change their ineffective thought processes into more effective thoughts and behaviors. She has an open and honest communication style with her clients, and uses her approach to help them in several ways, including improvement of communication skills and social skills, identifying and utilizing coping skills effectively to help manage moods, and assisting clients in becoming more self-aware and improving their relations with others.
